THE QUIET REVOLUTION / PODCAST SERIES

Some conversations
need more time.

A series built around a more human way of connecting. Editorial strategy, guest curation and independent studio production, carried through into the pace, edit and sound of the conversations.

WATCH / A SELECTED CONVERSATION

Tim Allen:
Beyond the Lens.

A conversation about creativity, burnout and the inner discipline behind stop-motion. One episode from the wider series.

MY CONTRIBUTION / GUEST CURATION · HOSTING · INDEPENDENT FILMING & EDITING

01 / EDITORIAL STRATEGY

A format that
makes room.

The Quiet Revolution grew from the questions behind my wider work: how we live, connect and remain human. The podcast gives those questions a public voice, with time for people to think beyond a polished introduction.

The format was a conscious choice. A longer conversation allows a thought to develop, a question to change direction and a person to be heard with more of their complexity intact.

02 / FINDING THE VOICES

Curation is part
of the story.

I found and curated the people and voices for the series. Guest selection shaped the editorial world of the podcast: which perspectives belonged in the conversation, what each person could bring and where a meaningful exchange might begin.

The production extends across several episodes, including the selected Tim Allen conversation and two episodes with Ros. The individual conversations sit within a connected interest in creativity, lived experience and human connection.

03 / INDEPENDENT STUDIO PRODUCTION

In the room.
Behind the cameras.

Working with an existing studio and set, I filmed the conversations and edited the episodes independently, alongside hosting and shaping the editorial direction.

The work connects the preparation and the conversation with its final form: choosing the voices, holding the exchange, capturing it and carrying its meaning through the edit.

04 / PACING, EDIT & SOUND

The space
is intentional.

The pacing follows the conversation. I give thoughts, reactions and emotional moments time to develop, allowing the edit to support listening and presence.

I also created the opening edit and sound treatment that introduces “The Quiet Revolution”. That beginning establishes the series’ identity and sets the tone for the conversation that follows.

The creative judgement is in the rhythm: knowing when to move, when to hold and when a moment needs room to breathe.
